The house is located inside the bay overlooking the Magote. It a ten minute walk to the marina, close to a reptile museum and directly across the street is Extremos activity center and a five minute walk to shopping.

With beachfront access and comfortable lounge chairs you can easily be whisked into the “mañana” lifestyle of the Mexican people. Enjoy the welcoming environment created by your host Leeanne, lather on the sunscreen, and break out that book you’ve been dying to read or hop on any board and enjoy the water!

Spend your day at the Bed and Breakfast that feels like a resort. The house and garden is available for your enjoyment. The BBQ is available for your use, the hot tub is kept at a comfortable 102F and the roof top patio furniture creates comfort while sunbathing or relaxing in the tented shade.

 The waterfront house has a row of large arched windows which allows you to enjoy the view of the water from every location in the house. It has a groomed beach with available sun chairs and a list of activities that are complementary to the guests of Casa Kootenay.

The main house offers a complete office with fax machine, scanner, wireless internet, photocopier, printer and telephone access. Entertainment centers include media player, dvd library, vhs library and cable tv in each room.

Casa Kootenay offers Water Sports such as kayaks (individual or tantem), windboarding for beginners or experienced, Stand up paddle boarding, swimming and mangrove tours.

We have a beautiful garden area inside the compound that is private and relaxing. There is a hot-tub available for guest of the Casa, ample parking options and direct access to the beach front.  The garden is adorned with blue rain flowers, bugambilias and various cactus life and it is the access point to the main house, a curved staircase to roof top viewpoint and sun deck.

There are two bedroom options. The Purcell Room and the Columbia Room.

Imagine spending your days seeking out the sights that the City of La Paz has to offer, snorkelling the island Espíritu Santo, horseback riding the beautiful Baja country side, taking a scooter to the various soft sand beaches.

In the evening head to the Malecón to taste the local fare or dance the night away! If staying in is on your agenda then stay and enjoy the privacy and romance offered. Later relax on the overstuffed leather couch to watch a movie from the Casa collection or curl up in your casita with a movie and a cold beverage.
